Plant and Safety Achieves SAFed Associate Membership Status

Plant and Safety are proud to announce that it has joined the Safety Assessment Federation (SAFed) as an independent inspection company complying with the Competence, Standards, and Codes of Practice set by SAFed. Plant and Safety now hold a SAFed Associate Membership status. 

Who are SAFed?

SAFed is the trade association that represents the UK independent engineering inspection and certification industry, which plays a key role in maintaining high standards of safety within the workplace. 

SAFed Member Companies provide statutory and non-statutory equipment examinations and inspection services to a range of national legislation including but not exclusive to pressure systems, machinery, and lifts, and so provide a primary role in maintaining high standards of safety in the workplace.

It acts as a focal point for all issues and concerns relating to the statutory inspection and certification, safe use, and operation of plant, machinery, and equipment. 

Ryan White, Managing Director for Plant and Safety had the following to say:
